Welcome to my New Blog Sunshine Stamper
What happens when you mix Wildflower fields, a baby chick and a berry basket?

"Those that bring Sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves." - James M Barrie

I love that quote! I also love the fact that Stampin'Up! has included this quote in the Feel Goods (129684) stamp set.  It is fitting, I think, that my first blog is about Sunshine and that this card I created is a birthday card for my son whose birthday is in a week, for who which this quote is perfect for!  Coincidence?  I don't think so, it amazes me how things come together!

This card was made by folding an 8 1/2 X 11 piece of card stock in half.  I wanted to make sure I had enough room for the entire Sunburst Thinlet Die (140617) upfront and center stage.  I love this new Die from the Occasions Catalog. For the label I tried a technique using our Simply Scored Scoring Tool (122334)  to create the tile look, then stamped my image.  I embossed the lower half of the card with the Lucky Stars Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (135817) to give the card more dimension and interest.   Inside the card I used the new Number of Years stamp set (140653) and Large Numbers Framelits Dies (140622) both also in the Occasions catalog.  The stamp set & Dies are so versatile they can be used in memory keeping, creating fun gift packages, home decor, classrooms, etc.  These both are offered together as a Bundle (140811) to save 15% as well! Great deal! Note: the stamp set are Photopolymer stamps to be used with clear blocks, which are sold separately.

OK, so you know I couldn't just throw the left over piece after cutting my sunburst die...so I've included a picture of what I made with it.  Can't say I'm totally in love with it...so it might turn into something else, lol.

I hope this gives you some ideas for your upcoming projects!
