"Those that bring Sunshine into the lives of others cannot keep it from themselves." - James M Barrie

What happens when you mix Wildflower fields, a baby chick and a berry basket?

Something pretty darn cute!

Since Sale-A-Bration is going to be wrapping up soon, I wanted to show you this really fun project I created using a couple of items from the Sale-A-Bration catalog. Easter is approaching fast and this little basket is so quick and easy to make, you can make them for everyone!  In fact, after you fill with a bit of grass and your treats, you can add this cute little bookmark too!

  Chick Basket watermarked

I used the Wildflower Fields Designer Series Paper (141022) for the basket.  Since all of our Designer papers are double sided with designs I only used 1 sheet to create this look. The sweet little chick is part of our Honeycomb Happiness stamp set (141288 wood or 141291 clear).  Now until March 31st you can earn both the paper and the stamps for FREE!  Every $50 order earns you free items from the Sale-A-Bration catalog!  We only do this once a year, so don't miss out!  I used Shimmery paper (101910 with Archival Black ink.  By pressing a small pool of ink into the top of the ink pad I water-colored the chick with an Aqua Painter (103954) using the Hello Honey pad (133643) and used our markers for the beaks, feet and grass.  (pumpkin pie 105115 & Old Olive 100079).  I used a blender pen to go over the grass to softly blend the background.  Soft Sky ink pad (131181) and aqua painter were used for the sky and the corners were made on the book mark by using the Project Life Corner punch (135346).  The Big Shot Die-Cutting Machine (113439) is needed to cut our Berry Basket using the Berry Basket Bigz L (137366).

I hope you enjoy this fun project!

Let me know what you think!

Until next time!

Wishing you lots of days full of sunshine!
